About Us
Scientific Educational Supplies commenced trading in 1965 selling Anatomical Models and Charts. In 1986 SES was acquired by the de Vries family, who quickly grew the business to embrace a national focus, and expanded the product range to include training manikins and task trainers designed to enhance the learning experience of Medical, Nursing Simulation Centre’s and Paramedical Communities throughout Australia and New Zealand. Today SES is located in a purpose built facility that includes a simulation centre to both showcase next generation of high fidelity simulators (on which trainees can acquire and practice complex medical skills in real time without the dangers associated with learning those skills on “live” patients), and the aspects associated with design and implementation of such facilities.
